cache marathon day

all packed and ready to roll last night
making the 5AM departure a piece of cake
beautiful pre-dawn drive down the 7/ 107 - lights and later sunrise relfected in the ubiquitous still lakes and bays
a big wide-open beautiful sandy beach, waves rolling in, a seagull and me
greeting the dawn from the barrens

Three FTFs
a wild lonely hike along a rough tumbly rock shore
reminscent of digby neck shore
climbing bashing jumping skipping running on the wildside
perserverance paying off for third FTF
learned a great camo trip
remembered jacket at last moment
10/ 11 on the clam harbour cache blitz
fun fast drive back to hali
sunny day
coffee
off with the "whole family" to find pirate treasure
boys gung ho and yelling and never giving up
the family finds their first (and second, third, fourth)
meeting dragonflys
the bucaneer trail looped back (whew)
quick nap ahhhh
